Customer of the Month – Run of the Mill!

April showers bring. . . a new customer of the month—in May! Signs Now Mill Creek proudly presents Linda and Steve Knox, owners of Columbia Funding Mortgage/ Development Director of Run of the Mill, as Customer(s) of the Month!

Linda Knox works with her husband Steve, owner of Columbia Funding Mortgage (located in Mill Creek Town Center). Run of the Mill is an annual Charity 5K race which Columbia Funding Mortgage sponsors and organizes each year. The Run of the Mill began in 1985 as a Community Fun Run.

Later, in 2006, Columbia Funding Mortgage became the title sponsor/ organizer —from there, Run of the Mill turned into a charity event. Since 2006, over $100,000 has been donated to cancer-fighting charities and also to support local high school-run programs, which is a secondary focus.

When asked the services Columbia Funding Mortgage provides, Linda Knox replied:

Columbia Funding Mortgage is a locally owned business employing only the best loan officers in the business. We believe it makes no sense to call an 800 number or respond to a television commercial and end up working with someone you do not know, will never meet, and cannot hold accountable.  When you work with our team, you will be working with someone who works and lives in your community. We will meet with you and thoroughly explain your options and explain all of the documents you are signing.  For more information, visit our website http://www.cfundingmortgage.com/

Run of the Mill

Linda volunteers as the Development Director for Run of the Mill in memory of her dad, who was lost to cancer in 1988, and to support her brother Jim and sister Shirley, who are both cancer survivors.

The race is dedicated to help those in the community who are battling cancer. This year, all the proceeds will be donated to the Linda Baltzell Cancer Patient Assistance Fund at Providence Regional Partnership in Everett. Proceeds from the race go directly towards helping cancer patients pay for prescriptions, transportation to appointments, utility costs, and other needs.

Linda and Steve live in Mill Creek and have two grown children, Caleb and Aubrea. In her free time, Linda enjoys Zumba and walking with her two best canine friends, her yellow labs, Luke and Pete.

As Customer of the Month, Linda will receive a Gift Certificate from Signs Now, and a Company Bio on the Signs Now Homepage for the rest of the month of June. Each month, we will pick a customer that “Stood Out Amongst the Rest.” We are very happy to name Linda as our Customer of the Month!
